L made a paper pizza too. L looked carefully at my paper stash to choose the textures that he thought represented bread, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. He used his compas to draw the 3 large circles. And then he had to be creative to find something to trace for pepperoni. This pizza was made for Dad...and just pepperoni is his favorite. L can't figure out why anyone would want small fish on their pizza.

We ate different kinds of pizza for dinner during the week. We made a Pillsbury pop-can pizza with ham on the kids side and pepperoni, ham, and purple bell peppers on Dad's side. Another day, we made little pizzas in the toaster oven using flat bread. We were too sick to do some of the "pizza" things we had planned, so we'll save those for another week. R was taking an antibiotic that she couldn't have any dairy with. So pizza wouldn't have been much fun.
On the schedule for sometime soon:
- A visit to Gondola's Pizza (our favorite family owned Pizzeria)
- A homemade Pizookie (a term coined at BJ's Pizza for a pizza size cookie served warm topped with vanilla ice-cream)
- And a Calzone (a pizza pocket).
